Our Team Structure

Partners

Partners are accountable for acquiring clients, managing client relationships, leading teams and building reputation and intellectual capital. Partners speak the language of the Board and top management, exhibit strong business savvy, and have exceptional client-management and analytical skills.

Principals

Principals are responsible for the day-to-day management of specific projects and/or client relationships. Principals are often the key client-facing contact, have the ability to take a project from beginning to end, and attend, but may not necessarily lead, major compensation committee meetings and project updates.

Managers

Managers are responsible for leading many aspects of specific client projects and/or relationships, and play a significant role in the management and implementation of internal processes at Hugessen. They attend client meetings and typically work under limited supervision by a Principal or Partner of the firm.

Associates

Associates are responsible for specific pieces of work as part of larger projects and take leadership roles on internal projects within the firm. Associates typically have a background in compensation, accounting, law or finance. They work on projects under the direction of a Manager, Principal or Partner.

Analysts

Analysts are typically recent graduates from an undergraduate program in commerce, finance, engineering, economics, accounting, law or a similarly analytically oriented program. Analysts at Hugessen have direct exposure to clients at the highest level of business leadership and work closely with Managers and Associates on internal projects within the firm. They develop expertise in compensation, finance, individual and corporate performance measurement, taxation, and corporate governance, as well as functional skills such as project management, client management, writing and presenting.
