Christine is a Manager in Hugessen’s Toronto office. Christine has extensive experience consulting to Boards and Compensation Committees on a broad range of executive compensation, performance and related corporate governance issues.

Christine’s work spans a wide range of mandates, including incentive plan design and implementation, compensation issues related to special situations (i.e. at controlled companies, in conjunction with M&A activity), CEO employment terms and conditions, and proxy disclosure. Her client list includes both public and private issuers in a variety of industries, with particular expertise in the mining space. Additionally, Christine is involved in teaching at the Directors Education Program run through the Institute of Corporate Directors and Rotman.


Christine joined Hugessen Consulting as an analyst in 2010 and took on her current role in 2014. Prior to joining Hugessen, Christine’s experience included financial analysis in the Corporate Banking division of a Canadian bank, and research and analysis on executive compensation issues and trends as a summer analyst at Hugessen in 2009. In addition, Christine spent one year abroad, teaching English in South Korea.


Christine graduated with distinction from the Queen’s School of Business at Queen’s University with an Honours Bachelor of Commerce degree. She also spent a semester abroad in Hong Kong at the Chinese University of Hong Kong.
