Bridget is a Principal in Hugessen’s Toronto office. She is a seasoned executive compensation professional with a wide variety of public and private clients across Canada. She interned with Hugessen in summer 2009 and joined the firm as an Analyst in 2010.
Bridget has extensive experience advising boards and senior management teams in the areas of business and talent strategic, executive compensation, executive employment contracts, corporate governance, and corporate and investment performance assessment.
Bridget joined Hugessen as an Analyst in 2010, and took on her current role in 2019. Her client list includes a broad range of public and private clients, in a variety of industries, including: financial services, telecommunications, retail, mining and media. Bridget has deep subject matter expertise in the investment management pension fund and private equity spaces, having worked with institutions who manage collectively nearly a trillion dollars.
Bridget is active in the field, including writing extensively on the topic of board gender diversity, collaborating with the Institute of Corporate Directors to develop director education and partnering with the Charted Professional Accountants of Canada to co-author a brief on equity alternatives to stock options.
Bridget graduated with distinction from the Ivey School of Business at Western University with an Honours Business Administration degree. She also holds a BESc in Mechanical Engineering (with distinction) from Western University.
