Emily is a compensation professional advising Boards and senior management teams across Canada in the areas of executive and director compensation, corporate governance, and compensation plan design. Emily has extensive experience advising clients in the financial sector, crown corporations, and pre-IPO corporations.
Emily supports clients across industries and in both the private and public sectors in thinking through compensation and governance-related issues. Emily has authored several articles on the topics of diversity and ESG-related compensation and corporate governance matters. Emily joined the firm in 2018 and took on her current role in 2022.
Prior to joining Hugessen, Emily worked in accounting and finance at a biotechnology company.
Emily graduated with distinction from the Ivey School of Business at Western University with an Honours Business Administration degree.
