Emily took on her current role in 2020 after interning in Summer 2017 and joining the firm as an Analyst in 2018. She has experience with mandates including executive and director compensation, incentive plan design, and corporate governance, with a particular focus on the financial sector, private equity-backed firms, and crown corporations.

Experience

Prior to joining Hugessen, Emily worked in accounting and finance at a biotechnology company. During university, she took on a consulting engagement advising a medical insurance company on the strategic design and implementation of an employee training and retention program.

Education

Emily graduated with distinction from the Ivey Business School in 2018 with an Honours Business Administration degree and a Merit Award for outstanding contribution to student life. Prior to her time at business school, she studied Anthropology.
