Reanna is a seasoned advisor with over 10 years experience partnering with boards and executives to solve complex compensation issues. She has extensive experience in strategic compensation design including for special situations (e.g. initial public offering, change in control, senior executive succession) and equity plan design and implementation. In addition to being a key leader for Hugessen’s executive compensation and governance practice, Reanna also supports the Board Effectiveness service offering.
Prior to joining Hugessen, Reanna was the Total Rewards Lead for a mid-sized oil and gas company where she lead the management of all compensation and rewards programs and prepared materials for and participated in compensation committee meetings of the board. In addition to her background in compensation, Reanna has experience in an HR generalist capacity.
Reanna graduated from the Haskayne School of Business with a Bachelor of Commerce degree, specializing in Human Resources and Organizational Dynamics. She is a Certified Human Resources Professional and has completed the Certified Compensation Professional designation. Reanna serves on the Board of Making Changes Employment Association and on the Board of Advisors for Iridium Risk Services. She frequently presents on executive compensation topics including for the Institute of Corporate Directors.
